Seo Automation - How to Use Blog Commenting Software Properly

Blog Commenting Automation HelpBlog Commenting Automation HelpI was messing around on a couple internet marketing forums the other day and came across a couple new but similar threads on both sites. I've been a member on The Warrior Forum and Digital Point forum for a fairly long time and have never written about something directly related to a post I saw. But since both forums had similar threads, It seems that it would be a good idea to talk about it. The posts were about Seo Automation Software.

Many of the comments on the threads were against using the tools. The people that were against using tools, claimed that they were basically spam tools and that google knows better. Of course there is some truth to this.

Most automation software is mostly used for spam, but keep this in mind before you completely ignore automation. The tool doesn’t create the spam the users of the software do. Of course if they are used to make garbage content that links to other garbage google won't like it. On the other hand if the tools are used properly -which even many of the tool makers don't teach- they can greatly help your marketing efforts, or at least reduce your workload.

Since there are so many different types of tools out there that do so many things Ill focus on blog commenting automation in this post and talk about other types of automation in another post.

Which tools should you use. –--I personally have used a few different tools. The ones I liked do multiple things, senuke for creating blogs and article posting, scrapebox (great for blog commenting and for many other things. Those two tools pretty much do what most other automation tools can do combined. This doesn’t mean they are the best or others don’t work. I just haven’t used that many of them.-- Another tool I liked for blog commenting before scrapebox was fast blog finder. The only reason I stopped using it was that scrapebox could do the same thing plus more. Once in a while I will still use it –it is easier to use, just can’t do as much-. I am not really promoting any one tool just the method. Just do a quick google search. I will soon post some info on the ones I use though.

So I guess I need to get to the point. Automation software can be great if used properly. If you want to go out spamming the internet, it probably won’t help you. Especially with the way google has cracked down. But, if your intention is to put out something worth reading then go right ahead. Blog commenting is great and if you start with any automation software find something for that. It is a great way to network with other members of your niche. Usually Blog automation software can help find tons of related articles and blogs. I would suggest starting up your program and finding as many blogs related to your site as possible. Usually all you will need to do is type in a keyword phrase and bam. A ton of related blogs at your fingertips. This is where Id take a step back and think about what your doing. At this point you will have a large list of articles and blogs that are similar to yours. You can choose to be like so many others and just set the auto post features. This is where I differ from the spammers.

Don’t automate your posting. The blogs are there held in a queue. You have already saved a ton of time. Guess what? It doesn’t take that much time to skim or even read the blog post. Be courteous and leave a good post. Maybe even give some valuable information. People read the comments, especially the easiest ones to find. If you leave a good comment, other readers of that blog might actually like what “you” have to say and this gives them a reason to click your link in the blog. Usually your name can be a link and sometimes you are allowed to have a url in the actual post. If you use a decent auto blog comment software it will allow you to scroll through each article very quickly and it will let you save your username and links to post them automatically each time it sees the comment box. Now just leave a good comment. You might not be fully automating everything now, but I guarantee it is saving you a ton of time and most will keep everything organized so you can go right back where you left off.

The thing is, that you could go through and just auto post to get a bunch of backlinks that are probably worth very little these days. But the webmasters will probably delete most of them and the ones that stick are just pointless junk anyways. Why not utilize the great tool you have, add just a tiny bit of effort and post a decent comment. Not only is it a better link to your site and people might actually click through. Reading the blogs that are related to yours might actually teach you something about your niche you didn’t know.

Totally agree it's stupidt to spam websites that are cared for. This ruins any potential future relationship with the webmaster who owns and operates the website. But just like the way UAW works for article marketing, there are website out there which exist sole for the software to submit comments too.

Agreed, I do however think that if a website is there for software to submit comments it might be best to avoid it if the post is junk if not a decent post will get you click thrus so taking a little extra time to write a comment or comment reply can be beneficial.

Yes, if you use the automation soft only for finding out the blogs in your niche, should be fine, otherwise not.

I have heard that Akimet will block out most spam comments if you are using Wordpress. Have you ever used this software and if so did you like it? It seems like every Gucci bag seller wants to leave a comment on my blog!

I typically use drupal as my cms and not wordpress, (just used to it) But Akismet is a service that you must sign up for. The module implements the Akismet service and it does work very well for catching spam and preventing it. It works on both wordpress and drupal, plus others im sure. The actual name of the module that I have used for Akismet implementation is the Antispam module found here http://drupal.org/project/antispam it used to be call Akismet but was abandoned. Although the module is free -drupals is anyways - the Akismet service costs a small fee if your a business. Free if your not. Hope this helps.

I've used Akismet a ton and have had a lot of luck with it. As a Wordpress user, I'm constantly worried about plugin bloat and so far I haven't had any issue with it slowing anything down.

And I've never seen a Gucci Bag comment on any site I run it on - BONUS! :)

Since its on topic Ill comment on this one. Looks like a good program deifinitely would be abused though. I see it as a good tool if used to not spam. The interface looks very similar to scrapebox.

I think it is not a part of white hat SEO to use software for blog commenting. So its not essential to use blog commenting software. Thanks :)
